Thrive DC hosts volunteers and clients who have traveled to Washington, DC from all over the country and from abroad. While we know that homelessness is not an issue unique to our nation’s capitol it is particularly poignant to note that Washington, DC appears in almost every study homelessness and is consistently listed among the US cities with the highest rates of homelessness. Thank you to all of our “out of town” volunteers who support us each day and who rally others in the fight against homelessness in their own communities.
